OPERATION

• Inspect blades and blade bolts for looseness

and excessive wear. Make sure the mower is

securely blocked up before crawling beneath.

Replace damaged, worn and missing blades as

complete sets to maintain rotary balance during

operation.

• Ensure carrier hub nut is tightened with the

cotter pin inserted and spread. OPS-R-0041

Replace bent or broken blades with new blades. NEVER ATTEMPT TO STRAIGHTEN,

WELD, OR WELD HARDFACING ON BLADES SINCE THIS WILL LIKELY CRACK OR

OTHERWISE DAMAGE THE BLADE WITH SUBSEQUENT FAILURE AND POSSIBLE SERIOUS INJURY

FROM THROWN BLADES.
