STEP 5

Remove all eight Bolts from Input Cap using a 14mm Socket. Then using a Hammer, tap the Output end of the

Input Shaft. This will loosen the input Cap and allow the removal of the complete Input Shaft Assembly. FIGURE 30.

STEP 6

The Input Gear and Bearing can be removed from the Input Shaft by tapping the end of the Input Shaft on a solid

surface. FIGURE 31.

The unit is now completely disassembled with exception of Oil Seals and Bearing Races that can be removed by

conventional means. FIGURE 32.

Inspect and replace all worn or defective parts.
